Georgina (George) Macfarlane

George has not swum with crocodiles or climbed Mount Everest, but she has visited every continent, dived with sharks, climbed a volcano and travelled to many far away places.

In 2008, George tackled a lifelong goal and took her first steps into the wonderful journey of photography. It was a Canon 50D and her world was about to change. Combining her love of travel with an inquisitive mind, her camera has become a vehicle to explore the world. George tries to capture a slice of life within the frame … as if the viewer has stumbled through a secret doorway directly into the everyday of a faraway place. More recently, George continues to develop her craft and has been chasing the moving image through film and video.
